You’re running a business, you have enough clients and everything is going well. It’s exciting and you love your life. Until one of your clients, maybe even your biggest clients files for bankruptcy. The third time it was a company abroad… so you understand, I was not only in shock (huuuh, I just emailed them yesterday?!) but also lost – where did I start now they didn’t respond to my emails anymore? I’ve been in business for so long that I kinda grew into it. I started as a teen and became more and more serious about my business over the years. One thing I’m so happy about: that I realised early on that everything I would earn, wasn’t only for me. Before I hired people, it was just me. So it’s very tempting to think that everything you earn, is your salary. But of course, it isn’t. You have expenses, you have fewer benefits than an employee and probably work a lot more. To be honest, I’m all about that ‘being conscious but not being obsessed’ with money lifestyle.
I know how much money I make, I try my best to make more every month and I know how much I spend.
