October flew by and it’s time for another bucket list and goals, November!

But before we do, a quick recap of some photos that I’ve taken from bucket list items of October.

I went to the beach but it wasn’t the autumnal walk that I expected: it was very sunny and warm!

This month is the one big month before that other BIG month, the month we prepare for the holidays and the only time to get work done, as everybody takes off time in December.

It’s also the month I usually start noticing that winter is coming, it gets colder and darker.

To cheer me, and you up, here are a few goals to get sh*t done and find some happiness in the darkness.

Before we dive in, read the previous monthly goals + bucket lists for you to print out:

Business + Personal Goals

1. Prepare the blog for Black Friday & Cyber Monday.

You can still sign-up for my special newsletter – I’ve collected the best deals just for you!

2. Start writing content for the new year.

This is the time to schedule my content and plan the year ahead! I’ve great plans to do some new things I’ve never done, can’t wait for the new positive energy! Also read: how I schedule and plan my content ahead.

3. Prepare for my move.

I still don’t have a (new) house yet, but I feel it’s closer than ever and I hope to prepare my blog content for the move, figure out what I want and finalize my own checklists (that I share here).

4. Continue to work on my health

I’m on a roll when it comes to going to yoga, booking acupuncture and things like that and I need to continue that.

November Bucket List

5. Enjoy a Thanksgiving Dinner

Where I’m at we don’t really celebrate Thanksgiving but I think it’s a great tradition if you’re into gratitude so the last few years I’ve ‘adopted’ the tradition and hosted a (small) dinner.

Scary movies I’m watching this Halloween season ?? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Catching up on: – Slender Man, I was too chicken to see this one in the cinema but I’m brave enough to watch it at home. – Halloween 2018 – The Girl in the Spider’s Web – The Possession of Hannah Grace – Hereditary ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And maybe give Netflix’ The Haunting of Hill House a chance but it seemed very slow. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Some 90’s classics I always LOVE: – Scream (all three) – I know what you did last summer – Halloween H20 – Urban Legend ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And some recommendations for you of scary (or just tense) films I’ve seen this year: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -Temple ? This one is SO good! It’s filmed in Japan and although they don’t speak Japanese all the time, if you’ve ever seen a Japanese thriller and loved it (SOO scary) go see this one its on Netflix! – Hush ? one of the most realistic and scariest film I’ve ever seen. – The Strangers 2 – Den Skyldige – Searching – The Nun – and lastly I also quite liked the Spanish movies REC and REC 2 (and maybe 3 and 4 I don’t remember these films are from 10 years ago but I still recommend them to people that love the genre haha) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’ve any recommendations for me, let me know! #halloween #scarymovies #moviemarathon

6. Stay home more

October was about outside activities, but November is more about staying in. Buying lovely new candles to enjoy, watching films and more. Also read my film tips here.

7. Read more

Recently I got a subscription to Audible and it’s SO great! All the knowledge and books to my availability, instantly.

I’m planning on reading Michelle Obama’s new memoir ‘Becoming’ as soon as it comes out.

In her new book, a work of deep reflection and mesmerising storytelling, Michelle Obama invites readers into her world, chronicling the experiences that have shaped her—from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an executive balancing the demands of motherhood and work, to her time spent at the world’s most famous address.

With unerring honesty and lively wit, she describes her triumphs and her disappointments, both public and private, telling her full story as she has lived it—in her own words and on her own terms. Warm, wise, and revelatory, Becoming is the deeply personal reckoning of a woman of soul and substance who has steadily defied expectations—and whose story inspires us to do the same.

8. Work a day unplugged

YES! snacks has challenged me to do something out of my comfort zone this November, and I choose to go offline for a day.

This isn’t such a challenge but it would be if it was a working day… will report later on Instagram how it went!

9. Book a November getaway… probably Rotterdam

I love taking weekend trips and exploring new cities in the country I live in, and up next, Rotterdam!

I’ll probably book a hotel to feel ‘away’ without really going away, just a short train ride away from home.

As you can see, it won’t be the most interesting month but it’s all about preparing for the new year and the festivities of December!
