Have you ever watched an episode of The Office. I’m talking about the American version here, not the original British show. It’s about a hapless office manager played wonderfully by Steve Carell who tries to make work fun for his employees while still earning a decent profit. It was a rather brilliant show and one that taught me all kinds of lessons about running a business in the real world. Let’s go through some of the craziest things The Office could have taught you as a business owner. (more…)
When we think about scary travel movies, Eli Roth’s incredibly bloody horror movie Hostel is probably the first thing that pops into your head. But there are many more travel movies that are scarier simply because they are based on real stories. These aren’t the kind of stories about people getting slaughtered, these are the kind of stories that freak you out because you know someone lived it and has survived to tell the story. They’re about people surviving terrible accidents or situations. They’re freaked out by mother nature instead of zombies or murderers. Must watch for travelers, because who knows, you might pick up some survival skills! Somehow, after I watched the Shallows recently, I’m SO into this kind of thrillers, so I decided to collect a few recent ones I saw inspired by true events. And yes, I must admit, they do fuel my wanderlust, often they start in the most beautiful places like Mexico, Hawaii or Australia. Enjoy!

Time for a quick movie/tv show update! Lately I was celebrating some time at home, before I left again for my Macedonia trip. My favourite thing to do at home? Watch stuff! Not ‘stupid’ Youtube videos, but binge watching seasons of tv shows and a lot of films. I was binging some stuff before I left, and in the plane, during traveling and stop overs etc. I also watched a lot. Please notice, I watched a lot of crimes the past weeks, but that was because I wasn’t living alone for the time haha. I’m not some dark freak, but I needed the thrill I guess. Now I’ll go back to action movies and romantic dramas 🙂
Here’s what (and why you should watch/not watch): (more…)

Trailer (I find it more a teaser than a trailer tho) for the upcoming Snowden film, based on the book written by someone who has never met him. But, the best news, my super favorite actor Joseph Gordon Levitt is playing Edward Snowden, and wrote a while back on his Facebook page about the movie: (more…)
My one holy hobby, the one hobby I will never make a work related thing is, films. I love films so much, I think It’s safe to say that I should have made up the term ‘binge watching’ somewhere in the ’90s. (more…)
